Unlike other facilities, the Fontenot Grand Mansion package offers three different days to use the mansion:
1) Bridal portrait day (four hours)
2) Rehearsal day (one hour)
3) Day of the wedding and reception (seven hours)

Only the European style castles and formal gardens can compare to the exquisite architecture of the Fontenot Grand Mansion.

You may choose from the four different ceremony sites:
1) In front of the heart-shaped fountain
2) In front of the steps of the mansion
3) Inside the Great Hall
4) The gazebo in the courtyard

Your package also includes:

Tables and white wooden garden chairs for 200 guests
White or pink linens for tables
6 total restroom facilities
Use of Fontenot Grand Mansion accessories such as brass candelabras, brass unity candle stand, silver cake stand, mirror and glass bowls for centerpieces, use of the Schimmel concert hall grand piano which is inside the Great Hall.

Many brides prefer the non-denominational atmosphere of the mansion’s Great Hall, which has the feel of a beautiful Renaissance chapel without the restrictions and stipulations often associated with a church ceremony.

Your minister or judge is welcome to perform ceremonies at the mansion, or we will assist you in finding an appropriate officiant for your vows. The mansion package includes the services of a professional wedding consultant who will coordinate a flawless rehearsal and wedding ceremony.

Indoor ceremonies are held in our Great Hall, beside a beautiful and grandiose fireplace. Indoor seating accommodates up to 200 guests, with a center aisle. There is a changing room for the bride and her attendants, as well as a holding room for the groom and his groomsmen.

Take your pre-wedding and post-wedding photos along the double stairways in the grand entryway, or along the balcony of the Great Hall. The mansion is also an incredible setting for your bridal or engagement portraits. Half-day appointments may be scheduled during the week, by appointment only.

The magnificent Schimmel Grand Piano is available for wedding ceremonies held in the Great Hall; however, you must contract the services of a professional pianist to insure the sanctity and decorum of your wedding music.

Prefer to host your wedding outdoors on the beautiful mansion grounds? Fontenot Grand Mansion provides the option of holding the ceremony on the elevated front landing framed by the majestic columns, with your guests seated below in the front courtyard. The beautiful beveled glass panels in the entryway are inscribed with biblical verses, which add to the spiritual feel of a romantic wedding at the mansion.

You may choose our tranquil garden setting and hold your ceremony on the mansion’s courtyard area amid the soothing strains of our flowing tiered fountain. Outdoor seating is unlimited, and may be positioned in a traditional placement with a center aisle, or amphitheater style, with guests seated in a semi-circle surrounding the fountain. Tents or canopies with lighting may be rented through our preferred vendors, and coordinated by our staff consultants. Additional fees will apply.
